When the client inquired to have a Venlo Greenhouse in Japan, where an earthquake-prone area is. It would be really a big challenge to anti-earthquake, especially its glasses cover. Consider its safety and long serve life and thermal capacity, we offered the PC sheet for this rose farm.
About 4000m2 greenhouse, with 8m width span, 4m gutter height and 5.1m ridge height.
It did not have any vent on roof, but have side wall roll-up vent for air flow and also the most economical way to save cost.
According to the local weather condition, we offered the outside shading system, inner shading system for better rose growth. What’s more, consider its heavy snow in winter, it also has the inner energy-saving system for better thermal keep. All these three systems are autoed controlled by Ridder reduce motors and connected to smart control.
Also informed by our client, they also have the heating system with air heater to warm up in cold winter or night.
So far, the greenhouse is almost 12 years, it still works well and all pipes are in good condition. But the light transmission of the polycarbonate sheet has decrease year by year. The client is considering to change the cover soon after pandemic.
